Good faces for radio
The invention of film brought a new dimension to DHRC broadcasts, but initially the DHRC cast resisted any filming of their shows. The musicians inparticular argued that they had faces best suited to radio, which wasn’t in dispute.
With the invention of YouTube and the near universality of filmed shows the DHRC did finally agree to film in the early 2000s.
