DHRC Creative Fund application round: Spring 2025

Applications are invited for our latest round of funding for young people in Tweeddale aged 8-25. You can apply for a grant of up to £400 to help you pursue an artistic activity of any kind. Priority will be given to new applicants who have not previously received a grant from the DHRC Creative Fund. The committee is interested in grant applications that explain clearly and specifically how you will use the grant money and how this will benefit you in developing your artistic interests. In particular please explain how a DHRC Fund grant will help to grow your current artistic activity or help start a new one, rather than simply maintain an existing activity.

All applications must be submitted using the online form on this page below. Complete all sections of the form and submit it before May 31st 2025.

All information you supply will remain confidential to the DHRC Creative Fund committee and will only be used in consideration of the grant application. We will use your e-mail address to contact you if we have any specific queries about the application.

Referee’s supporting statement

A referee’s supporting statement must also be received by the committee before May 31st 2025. Your referee is someone aged over 18 years who can tell us a little more about you and your application, for example a family friend, teacher, coach, or another suitable unrelated adult who knows you. The referee cannot be a direct relative or someone who lives in the same house as the applicant, nor can they be a beneficiary of the grant funds. Ask your referee to visit this link and complete the online form before May 31st 2025. Applications without a referee supporting statement cannot be considered by the committee.
